Congrats! You’re now the detective/superspy/rogue janitor/anti-hero in some sort of movie. As such, you need a way to get around if you want to stop the murderer/save the world/clean up some messes/whatever. What’s your pick?
Personally, I’d go with a GT350. Sure, there isn’t much of a back seat to put people to bring them back to the station for interrogation, but hey, at least I know that they won’t be able to outrun me.

I’m not usually a lambo guy, but this Countach wants to go run down the bad guys.

I’d go with a TVR Sagaris, why? Why the hell not?
However, I think it would be more interesting to do villain cars. If I was a supervillian living in a hollowed out volcano, this would be my garage;
Gurkha, because of course.
F-Type
Hellcat Charger
And, to blend in, an F-150, because they’re fucking everywhere.

Chipped, of course, because moar power to chase down bad guys.
Although these two would be more feasible options you remove the Impala SS/Mar badging. They’d make for a great ramming cars once you reinforce the SHIT out of them, especially the Mercury since it’s body-on-frame. Easy to modify/swappable V8s for lots of reliable power.

I’d go with a TVR Sagaris, why? Why the hell not?
Because in order to be a hero you must remain alive long enough to catch the bad guy.

I would probably channel my inner Will Smith from Bad Boys so I’d choose one of these:
e92 M3 in Techno Violet
or
997 GT3RS 4.0
I am aware there’s no room to book the bad guys in these two but after I get to them they won’t need a ride back to the station.
Or I guess I could just strap them to the gigantic rear wing on the GT3RS 4.0.

Yep! And I assume the weight of the guns in the front trunk would balance out with the weight of the bad guy right? I see no problems.

You picked a good, if not the best choice. It’s an everyman car that can run with cars 6 times its price.
Honestly, the only other option I would get is a new Camaro SS or the ZL1 when that comes out

Widebody Quattro doesn’t sound too bad though, I prefer to think of my self as an anti hero ;) (If it means I get to drive more bad ass cars)

I’d want a black notchback LX. They’re understated and blend in if you aren’t paying attention, but still manage to be menacing when you do. They can be built to be as fast as you’d ever want a car to be, make nice noises and have character.
This particular one belongs to a guy who goes by Novi357 and runs 8s as it sits in the photo. Imagine watching this thing run a hypercar down?
I think my hero would be a down home, humble American dude making due with his wits, some luck and an old Fox body Mustang.

For Act 1 and 2, something moderate, modest, but subtly cool.
And when it unfortunately goes out of commission just before the final climactic act, the hero car comes out of an unlikely place.
As cool as Johnny Cash in car form.

It is a fair archetypal parallel. Strong, powerful, brash looking yet traditionally attractive, elemental, uncomplicated and unambiguous. The traits that also embody the alpha male hero archetype.

The conspicuous: Audi RS7. Powerful engine, great looks, and Audi. Requires you to wear a sportcoat and sunglasses to drive.
The inconspicuous:
Heavily modified Chevy Traverse, talk about blending in, you can’t walk outside without seeing 5 in 30 seconds. I was thinking LS swap (because of course), sequential manual, and fink knows what else.

I’m thinking Detective, in that “oh so sexy” 1940's Noir film kind of way. Naturally then, my car of choice needs to be American and fast, but also masculine and cool.
luckily for me, the boys at the local P.D. got their hands on Ronnie Malone’s old Cadillac. For a dope dealer he had good taste, and went with a black on black CTS-V. with a bit of haggling with the chief inspector, this P.I. was able to snag himself a very superb machine....
Some aspects are a must though. it should not, under any circumstances, be perfect. some dents and scrapes on the front bumper as well as rock chips are welcome. Grime on the shiny chrome wheels as well as curb rash to show use in chases is good. A detective's car is not perfect, but it should go like a bat outa hell when needed
